Accelerating Students from High School to College and Careers

This report from ExcelinEd explores college acceleration opportunities — including Advanced Placement, Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education, College Level Examination Program, dual credit (dual or concurrent enrollment), early college high schools and International Baccalaureate (IB) — to illustrate how such opportunities can accelerate learners’ progress through their educational and career pathways. The report addresses issues related to quality and value, equity and access, and capacity and funding, and sets non-negotiable expectations for the delivery of college acceleration opportunities.
